Jason Deane is Associate Professor of Business Information Technology in the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University. He received a Ph.D. in Decision and Information Sciences from the University of Florida, and an M.B.A. and B.S. in Business Administration from Virginia Tech. He has published articles in leading journals including Management Information Systems Quarterly, Information Systems Journal, Decision Support Systems, OMEGA, Expert Systems with Applications, Information Technology and Management, The Journal of Computer Information Systems, Information Systems Journal among others. His current research interests are in the areas disaster and humanitarian operations, supply chain management and computer aided decision support systems.
