Dan Simundza is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Department of Business Information and Technology. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan and a BA with honors from the University of Chicago, both in Economics. Previously, Dr. Simundza worked in the Department of Economics and the Global Forum on Urban and Regional Resilience at Virginia Tech, and in the Finance and Business Economics Department in the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. His research has been published in peer reviewed journals including the International Review of Law and Economics, the Review of Law and Economics, the Journal of Sports Economics, and the Journal of Green Building. Dr. Simundza has also worked in the private sector as a financial services consultant and transfer pricing analyst.
