Faculty members gathered at the Inn at Virginia Tech over the course of two days for the BIT Faculty Retreat on August 17-18, 2023.

Guest speaker presentations, workshops, and team building activities highlighted the importance of effective communication and collaboration to help BIT faculty members meet their goals for the year ahead.

Tony Gambill, Founder and CEO of ClearView Leadership, led a series of individual and group team building activities which encouraged faculty to think about their priorities for the next academic year for the BIT Department and beyond.

The retreat was also filled with plenty of socializing during the BIT Social where the BIT Departmental Awards were presented over dinner at The Inn at Virginia Tech.
