Max Kabanuk

Max is a Senior User Experience Researcher (UXR) at Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group. As a UXR, Max bridges business requirements, consumer psychology, and technology best practices, collaborating with product, design, and stakeholder teams to fill information gaps. Leveraging his background in Business Information Technology (BIT) he employs primary and secondary research methodologies to provide strategic direction and innovative solutions. Prior to UHG Max worked at King’s College London, Polaris Inc., and Content Enablers. While his primary corporate impact has spanned across the healthcare industry, his business experience includes running e-commerce companies and AI CRMs.

Since graduating from Pamplin with BIT and Marketing degrees in 2019, Max has lived in Boston, Raleigh, and currently resides in NYC. He’s an active alumnus and knows this is the year for the VT football team.
