Patrick Hannon

Vice President at Volkswagen Group of America

Patrick received his undergraduate degree in Business Information technology from Virginia Tech in 2004.   As a Vice President at Volkswagen Group of America, he oversees a multi-billion dollar program charged with implementing the consumer and regulatory settlements associated to the Volkswagen TDI emissions scandal settlements (aka Dieselgate).  In previous roles, as Directory of Controlling, he led all financial planning and analysis efforts for Volkswagen in the United States. Patrick serves as the school ambassador to Virginia Tech on behalf of Volkswagen and its college hiring efforts.  Prior to his work with Volkswagen, Patrick worked for Accenture and a boutique consulting firm focused on implementation of analytics packages and toolsets. He is a native Northern Virginian and lives in Herndon with his wife, and 2 children. (4 year term; ending spring 2023)
