Bereket “BK” Ademichael

Bereket Amdemichael is a Senior Manager at Splunk.  BK joined Splunk 4 years ago after a career in public service with the GAO, DoD, Homeland Security and most recently as the Director of Security Operations for Georgetown University.  BK is focused on helping Splunk’s Public Sector customers migrate and manage their Splunk cloud deployments from a technical perspective.  This includes guidance on architecture, compliance, security among other topics.

BK lives in Springfield, VA with his wife, Milen, and 5-year-old son, Lukas.  BK is a D.C. sports homer and a Tottenham Hotspur supporter. He tries to play basketball and BJJ as a weekend warrior, and you can usually tell when he is limping around the office on Monday or Tuesday.
