Young J. Cho
Young has over 10 years of experience in the IT industry and with Federal agencies, providing leadership in the fields of information assurance, risk management, and cybersecurity. He is currently a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young in the Consulting service line of the Government & Public Sector (GPS). He serves the Department of the Navy, leading the IT-related assurance for the integrated financial statement audit, as well as FedRAMP and NIST-related advisory services to commercial companies such as Microsoft.
Young additionally champions those he works with at Ernst & Young. He's actively involved in the GPS People Advisory Board, the Greater Washington People Advisory Board, and leads the L&D initiatives for GPS. He additionally has led DE&I-related initiatives, including EY's Entrepreneur Access Network (EAN) program which mentors Black and Latin entrepreneurs in the Greater Washington region, and prepared the annual ASCEND Conference for Pan-Asian consultants in the US East region.
Young graduated from Virginia Tech in 2005, earning his undergraduate degree in Accounting and Information Systems (ACIS) from the Pamplin College of Business. He currently maintains technical certifications such as the CISSP, CISA, and PMP.
