Thomas Lawler

Thomas Lawler is a Partner Management Director at Salesforce, where he orchestrates strategic partnerships with some of the world’s most influential technology companies. Currently leading the AWS partnership, Thomas manages complex co-innovation initiatives and go-to-market strategies that help joint customers navigate the frontier of enterprise AI. Whether he’s aligning executive relationships or launching global products, he is known for being the "tireless and focused" engine that keeps every stakeholder moving toward the goal—preferably via a quick phone call rather than an endless Slack thread.

A 2014 Virginia Tech graduate, Thomas has remained deeply involved with the BIT program for over a decade. He is passionate about providing students with the same professional "launchpad" and mentorship that defined his own trajectory. After nine years at Salesforce and a foundation in consulting, Thomas serves on the board to help bridge the gap between the classroom and the rapidly evolving demands of the global tech industry.

Now based in Raleigh, Thomas lives with his wife, Katie, and their two newest recruits: three-year-old Annie and 3 month old Liam. As the youngest of six siblings, Thomas finds that the chaos of life with two-under-three is his natural comfort zone. While his golf clubs may be gathering a bit of dust, he stays busy with DIY home improvements, spreadsheets for every occasion, and the occasional mustache-growing phase. A dedicated Hokie who makes it back to Blacksburg every fall, Thomas is committed to raising the next generation of fans.
