Amanda Satterwhite
Amanda “Mandy” Satterwhite is the Managing Director of Accenture Federal Service’s (AFS) Cyber Practice. Her 27+ year “GovCon” career started as a software developer, where she has risen through the ranks of federal contracting, taking on increasing responsibility and entrepreneurial challenges along the way. She has a history of delivering critical mission systems across DoD, Federal Law Enforcement, and Intelligence Agencies and leading strategic growth in both small and large businesses.
Mandy founded the niche Cyber Mission and Enablement practice in 2017 (then Novetta, later acquired by AFS in 2021), where she continues to lead a team of highly specialized software engineers and security researchers in developing progressive and resilient tools and infrastructures in support of sensitive cyber missions. With a focus on continuous learning and passion for serving the Defense and National Security community, Satterwhite has built a culture that empowers her team of talented engineers and researchers to drive innovation and technical excellence in support of customer mission success. She led 20%+ YoY growth for the AFS Cyber practice in 2024-2025 expanding client’s missions across full spectrum cyber andenterprise Zero Trust solutions.
With a commitment to giving back to the cyber community, Satterwhite serves on WashingtonExec’s Cyber Council and the Virginia Tech BIT Advisory Board and is a repeat guest speaker/panelist for Federal Media outlets and authored a number of educational articles in industry and defense journals highlighting cyber resilience and Zero Trust best practices and understanding inherent vulnerabilities in the AI ecosystem. In 2024 and 2025, Satterwhite was nominated as an industry Top 50 Cyber leader in CyberScoop awards and a five-year nominee as a Top 25 Cyber Executive by WashingtonExec, 2022 and 2023 Pinnacle Award nominee as Cyber Executive of the year for a Public Company >$250M) and a 2023 recipient of The Cyber Guild’s Alliance Leader Award.
