Thomas Walker
Thomas Walker has been a Solutions Consultant at Palo Alto Networks since 2024. Prior to this he had a tenure as a Solutions Architect at VMware. With over 20 years in the IT industry, he seeks to align the capabilities of cybersecurity, cloud, and other emerging technologies to the mission oriented goals of his customers within the U.S. Public Sector. His experience with multiple technology platforms has allowed him to attain several industry certifications in cybersecurity, as well as virtualization, Kubernetes, AWS, HP, and Cisco technologies, with additional specialties including network architecture and design.
Thomas holds an undergraduate degree in Business Information Technology from Virginia Tech, and he also holds a Master's degree in Technology Management from Georgetown University. In addition to his work with the Business Information Technology Advisory Board he continuously seeks to contribute to his professional, academic, and local communities. Thomas is both a rider and contributor to the annual Georgetown Bellringer ride to support cancer research at Georgetown University’s Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, DC’s only cancer center federally designated by the National Cancer Institute. He is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated.
