Michael Napper

Chief of the Client Applications staff in Education Service for the Department of Veterans Affairs

Michael Napper is Chief of the Client Applications staff in Education Service for the Department of Veterans Affairs.  He obtained his Bachelors of Science in Business Management from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia in 2002.  Mr. Napper has over 12 years of experience with providing support for Veterans and their spouses in the form of processing claims, testing and developing new software functionality, creating automated solutions, and overseeing and resolving nationwide issues pertaining to Veterans records. He has primarily worked in the Veterans Benefits Administration in offices throughout Washington, D.C.  Mr. Napper is the Vice President for the Business Information Technology Advisory Board for the Pamplin College of Business.  Mr. Napper is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and a co-chair for the Networking Committee of the Virginia Tech Black Alumni Reunion.  In his downtime, Mr. Napper enjoys spending time with his son and daughter, listening to a variety of podcasts, and serving on various ministries in his local church.  Mr. Napper lives in Alexandria, Virginia.
