Marvin Boyd
Marvin graduated from the Pamplin College of Business in 2001 with dual degrees in Management Science & Information Technology (now Business Information Technology) and Management. He received his Masters in Information Technology Management from the University of Virginia in 2011. He is a Certified Program Management Professional (PgMP) and Project Management Professional (PMP).
Marvin is currently a Development Director at Freddie Mac in McLean, Virginia where he delivers IT solutions for complex data challenges. He was previously at the Virginia Housing Development Authority and Circuit City.
Marvin is a member of the Pamplin Advisory Council (PAC). He previously served on the Virginia Tech Alumni Association National Board and was the President of the National Capital Region Alumni Chapter.
He also served as the President of the R.B. Pamplin Society. In his spare time, Marvin serves as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for Loudoun County and the National Park Service, is an avid runner, enjoys world travel, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
