Scott McConaghie

Scott McConaghie is an Associate Director at Accenture with more than 31 years of experience delivering large-scale systems implementations and leading complex programs and projects. A graduate of Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business with a degree in Management Science/Decision Support Systems (now called Business Information Technology), Scott joined Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) in Washington, D.C., where he has built a career focused on driving successful outcomes for major enterprise clients.
Scott began his career in Accenture’s Communications & High Tech operating group, supporting clients including Bell Atlantic/Verizon, Network Solutions, and XM Satellite Radio. He later transitioned to Accenture Federal Services, delivering solutions for the U.S. Department of Education and multiple U.S. Defense and Intelligence agencies.
Currently, Scott serves as Commercial Director for the Halliburton account within Accenture’s Resources Operating Group and Energy Sector, where he leads commercial strategy and supports a large, complex client engagement. He is PMP certified and a U.S. Army veteran. Scott resides in Centreville, Virginia, with his wife and three sons.
