Samara Moore is a recognized cybersecurity leader who advances secure innovation and resilience across public and private sectors. She helps organizations harness technology responsibly—aligning digital transformation, regulatory expectations, and business objectives to build trust in the digital age.
With leadership experience spanning government and Fortune 100/500 enterprises, Samara has strengthened cybersecurity across cloud, IT, and operational technology (OT) environments—enabling secure modernization in critical sectors. As former Director for Critical Infrastructure Protection on the National Security Council, she helped develop the U.S. Cybersecurity Framework and architect the Electricity Subsector Cybersecurity Capability Maturity Model, both of which continue to shape global standards and cross-sector collaboration.
Known for connecting people, policy, and purpose, Samara frequently speaks on secure cloud adoption, cyber risk management, and workforce development. She currently Chairs the Board of Directors for ISC² and advises nonprofit organizations dedicated to empowering the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. Outside of her professional pursuits, Samara enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family—running, hiking, and relaxing by the beach.
