Phillip Moore

Phil Moore is a Partner and the IT Risk Practice Leader at Kearney & Company, a premier CPA firm serving the U.S. Government and providing services across the financial management and information technology (IT) spectrums. Mr. Moore brings over 24 years of professional experience in IT assurance, financial management, and consulting. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and a Project Management Professional (PMP).

Phil is a 2000 and 2001 graduate of Virginia Tech, where he earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting and Information Systems from the Pamplin College of Business. A proud and engaged alumnus, he has actively mentored and recruited Hokies since graduation. Phil currently serves as Vice Chair of the Pamplin Accounting and Information Systems (ACIS) Advisory Board, is President of the Pamplin Society, and is the former Chair of the Pamplin Business Information Technology (BIT) Advisory Board.

Phil resides in Springfield, Virginia with his wife, Julie, a 2004 Pamplin graduate, and their three children.
